Dale Storey

Dale joined General Mills Canada in 1994, and advanced rapidly to Vice President Marketing in 2005 where he was recognized externally as “Canadian Marketer of the Year in 2015” by Strategy magazine. In 2016, Dale became the first Canadian to be appointed President of General Mills Canada. In this capacity, he was responsible for the commercial success of General Mills largest market ($1.5 billion) outside of the US.  Dale has a record of driving stellar results through game changing innovation, marketing excellence, and the development of talent and culture.  During Dale’s five- year tenure as President, sales grew at almost 2X the rate of competition.

Dale left General Mills in July 2021 to cofound KALE.  He serves on the board of several investment companies including Pulp Culture and Pickle Jar.  He also serves as the Chair of the Advisory board for Midori Bio. 

 Dale has been a passionate supporter of the United Way for the past decade, serving as Chair of the United Way Greater Toronto Cabinet in 2021.

 Dale was born in Calgary, Alberta, and moved to London Ontario to attend the Richard Ivy Business School in 1992 where he graduated with an Honors Degree in Business Administration.  He is an avid cyclist, (formerly) hockey player, and overall fitness advocate.
